Dear Parents and Friends:
As you may know, the practice of Yoga is gaining recognition both as an excellent form of physical activity, and as a teaching tool. It is non-competitive, yet challenges the mind and body. It also encourages the participant to develop an attitude of peace, moreover, a sense of self .
On April 7th 2007, a teacher training will be held in Virginia Beach. It is hosted by Yoga Kids International, of Michigan City, Indiana. The Tools for Schools training session will focus on bringing the practice of yoga into the classroom, and is complete with syllabus, course materials, and interactive media for use in the classroom, and at home with parents.
We would love to send ___________________________________ to this training, and request your help in sponsorship! The total cost, per person, is $469.00 (which includes all course materials and 7 hours of training).
Not only will you be helping your child's teacher and/or school to provide quality education, you will also be opening them up to a whole new world of mental and physical fitness and awareness!
Please encourage your friends, neighbors, and other school parents to join with you in sponsorship. The Training date is March 7th!
